NORTHERN BAJA

REFERRED TO AS THE "SAN DIEGO OF MEXICO", ARGUABLY HAS THE FINEST WEATHER IN THE WORLD WITH A DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE OF SEVENTY DEGREES AND IS ONE OF THE THREE MOST CLOUD FREE AREAS ON EARTH!

THE SEMI ARID COASTAL ZONE IS MILD WITH THE SUMMER MONTHS JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER HAVING TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE 70S TO THE 80S WITH BALMY NIGHTS AND LOW HUMIDITY.

THE WINTER MONTHS ( IF YOU DARE TO REFER TO THESE MONTHS AS WINTER), HAS TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE MID SIXTIES INTO THE EIGHTIES. TEMPERATURES CAN DROP INTO THE FORTIES AT NIGHT.

DECEMBER THROUGH MARCH HAS SOME SPORADIC RAIN SHOWERS, NORTHERN BAJA HOWEVER BOASTS OF SOME OF THE LOWEST RAINFALL TOTALS IN THE WORLD WITH AN AVERAGE RAINFALL OF LESS THEN 9 INCHES A YEAR. SOME MORNINGS ARE OVERCAST, THE SUN USUALLY BURNS THROUGH BY ELEVEN A.M.

MAJOR STORMS AND HURRICANES ARE VIRTUALLY NON- EXISTENT,  511 NORTE IS IN A BAY AND IS CUSHIONED BETWEEN THE PUNTA BANDA PENINSULA ON THE SOUTH AND THE ENSENADA PENINSULA TO THE NORTH AND IS FURTHER PROTECTED BY THE ISLAND OF TODOS SANTOS DIRECTLY TO THE WEST.

HURRICANES ARE UNHEARD OF IN THIS PART OF MEXICO.
